Designed to be your guide as you tour the famous battlefield, that goal has been met

Containing descriptions of the geography, the historical context and the course of the battle, this book is designed to be your reference as you are touring the site of the famous last battle of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Maps and images allow you to orient yourself with the locations of the various forces and where the major clashes took place. Textual descriptions of the principal commanders, major units and what they did provide the historical significance of the battle. While it is too much to say that a victory by Napoleon would have dramatically altered history, it is true that he came very course to winning the battle, so there would have been at least minor changes. Whatever your interest in the Battle of Waterloo, this book will provide you with at least some of what you desire.
