Was It Worth Dying for?

Detective Brennan Marshall has been solving crimes in Duifort for over six years now. He had never really pictured himself in this line of work - or any line of work, in fact. Most of the cases that he works on have definite answers, however, others don't. His latest case brings him to the small town of Harworth - a place with a virtually zero percent crime rate - where he finds two eighteen-year-old girls dead after plummeting off the roof of St. Ursula's catholic school. Harworth is a humble town, with a tight-knit community - crime is basically unheard of

The question begs: was it a suicide or a homicide?

No one wants to deal with the idea that a murderer is going around killing the youth of Harworth. But Brennan isn't convinced that it is a suicide.

As Brennan works this case along with Officer Carlie Tanner and Officer Avery Kenner, he learns of a case about a serial killer in Harworth in the 80s - Crazy Ann. And what draws him in even more is that this killer was never caught. Brennan can't help but try to put a name to the notorious Crazy Ann.

But, as he attempts to find Crazy Ann's identity, he doesn't fully realise that he is neglecting the other case - the one in this time period

Little does he know that his progress, or lack of it, is being closely followed...
