Loved this book. Anticipated every reading session with excitement !

Wonderful book. Don't miss this one...and I have read ALL of the Warrior books. Every one. These are cats we have not met before. All new characters to the Warrior universe except for some Star Clan cats and a brief mention in another book of Galestar. As a much older reader, I still don't understand how the targeted age group can truly experience the core of the emotions of this book. Perhaps the young mind has progressed in leaps and bounds, and I simply don't give the age group enough credit. It is a fascinating read, and is emotionally captivating as the tale unfolds. The adventure is one filled with the extreme highs and lows of a group of intrepid explorers really, simply trying to find a better life...and how love can effect the two leaders and their brave followers. The dangers they must constantly face...the will to go on...loyalty...ambition...and resulting mistakes...prophecies...all examined in captivating prose. The two last chapters of the story are particularly unforgettable, and I will not forget the very last paragraph any time soon. Very thought- provoking on multiple levels. Highly recommended.
