Warrior's Embrace

What a magical story - absolutely loved it. Steve Thunderhouse is a man with a tragic past. Once a great journalist his past is hidden because of the death of his young daughter, an alcoholic ex-wife, his own problems with alcohol. He is a sullen, bitter man hiding his problems in his Wild West Show in Arizona. Angel Mercer is a lovely young author who writes books about an "angel" named Muriel. Deciding to get away from her fame buys a second hand camper and heads out west on vacation. She stops overnight to camp in Arizona where she sees Thunderhorse's show and simply falls in love with him at first site and he feels emotions for her that he hasn't felt in years but he keeps pushing her away. I absolutely loved the rest of the story of Steve and Angel finally realizing their love for one another. If you love happy endings wait until you read the last two pages of the book - had to get some tissues. Also, can't wait for September to read the story of Steve Thunderhouse's friend Lucas Gray Wolf in "Gray Wolf's Women" - preview in back of this book looks great.
