Quality content, if you need it.

Overall I would say the book is very complete. I have found very little about Warcraft III that was not answered in this book. This book has two parts. The first part is the game play detail. This part provides details such as damage, armor, range, hit points for every unit and building; a "tech tree" for each race; and details about the special abilities of the heros. This part is essential for any serious player. The second part is a pure spoiler for the single player missions. It gives every detail about the missions including: items, enemies, power ups, and tactical strategies. This part would be most useful to younger players or those who are new to strategy games.I personally do not enjoy the single player game nearly so much as the multi-player game. I have owned the game for 6 months now, and have not-yet finished the single player game. Conversly, I have played over 200 online games. I would recommend this Strategy guide to two types of people: those who are serious about developing a winning strategy (using the first part of the book), and those who are new to strategy games and may have trouble completing the single player missions (who would use the second part of the book).

Why Would You NOT Get This Book!

I must admit, I am not the world's best RTS game player. I get beat quite often, and end up getting mad at the game, and retiring it to the shelf. However, with this guide, I was able to muddle my way through the Human Campaign, and got quite a good start on the Undead Campaign before Medal of Honor lured me away! What a dilema! My buddies team up against the computer at our LAN parties, and this book always accompanies me. One of my buds lives, breathes, talks, walks, and eats Warcraft, and HE found this book to be very helpful. Bottom line, if you want to do good at this game, or you are stuck or whatnot, get this book. You won't regret it.

NECESSARY!!!

Even if you've already gone through the whole campaign, this guide'll come in handy finding anything you might of missed, not to mention the story and many details from the different races will be a whole lot clearer. AND, if you've already found everything, then it can also help you starting off in multiplayer. This guide is absolutely necessary for anyone who loves playing Warcraft 3.

Excellent Help for the Less Than Excellent Player

If you love Warcraft III, BUY THIS BOOK! Even if you've already played your way through the single-player game, the tips and insights into the different races are incredibly useful as you transition into multiplayer action. In fact, there's a great multiplayer section included! I, myself, did fairly well in the single-player campaign, but I'm not doing so well in multiplayer. Already, this book has taught me a lot. In short, this book rocks.
