Funny

I don't have time to review each book independently but wanted to share some ratings of several books I consider outstanding. Happy reading!

This one includes a few chuckles

Pros: 1. Excellent premise. 2. The author has an ear for really entertaining dialogue. 3. I loved the way the protagonist, Emily, got all-inclusive about things. Cons: 1. REALLY short book--only 122 pages of fairly large typeface. It's a novella or a very long story, not a whole book. 2. There sure was fast switch from 'blushing virgin' to 'hot-for-it-sexpot'. 3. Obviously a newish writer (story structure, pace, etc) albeit one that shows real promise. I'll be on the lookout for upcoming work by this author.

Super! Historical Menage Western Romance is Laugh-out-Loud Funny

Natalie Acres has a strong voice for historical romances. Wanted by Outlaws is laugh out loud funny. The rough and rowdy cowboys have slow hands and will win over the reader with a little lip service and cute dialogue. There's a hint of wicked when we're introduced to a crooked marshal and a subplot readers will enjoy. Once again, Natalie Acres delivers leaving me to believe the author understands how to write a best seller in western ménage. Even though her titles suggest a lot of sex, her books are action-packed with well developed plots. Natalie Acres joins my growing list of favorite authors: Lora Leigh, Lori Foster, Melinda Barron, Maya Banks, Lucy Monroe, and Emma Holly. Highly recommend all of her books.

Hint of Wicked and a Little Lip Service Makes Wanted by Outlaws a Hit

There's a hint of wicked when we're introduced to a crooked marshal and a subplot readers will enjoy. Once again, Natalie Acres delivers leaving me to believe the author understands how to write a best seller in western ménage. Even though her titles suggest a lot of sex, her books are action-packed with well developed plots. I've read Sex Party, Wanted by Outlaws and Cowboy Boots and Untamed Hearts. I prefer Miss Acres's longer novels for several reasons. While Wanted by Outlaws is well written and very good, it's hard to beat the unexpected creativity and explosive story telling (found in Cowboy Boots and Untamed Hearts) and hard to top the well developed plot (found in Sex Party). Natalie Acres joins my growing list of favorite authors: Lora Leigh, Lori Foster, Melinda Barron, Maya Banks, Lucy Monroe, and Emma Holly. Highly recommend all of her books.
