Every believer is called to walk a life led by the Holy Spirit, not just those who have been called to "full-time" ministry. In truth we are all meant to be in full-time ministry whether it generates our actual paycheck or not. It is our livelihood, nonetheless.

Walking in a manner worthy of the Lord is what each of us desires to do and that's why you have picked up this book or joined this Bible Study group. But in order to conduct our lives in this way, we must rely on something or someone other than our own puny wisdom and our own weak will and strength.

Walking in the Spirit is the answer. If you have yearned for more of God, longed to practice His presence more closely and desired to establish or strengthen divine connection, you are in the right place. Divine connection opens up a two-way communication, in which we continually share our wants, needs and desires with God, and then learn to be attentive to His responses.

It's not a formula we're after - it's a relationship. Relationships grow and mature as a result of quality time spent together. The only difference here is that we cannot see the Holy Spirit with our physical eyes. But if we spend time knowing Him in the Word and in two-way prayer, we will maintain divine focus, and as Moses did, we will see what becomes visible in His wake, as He passes by (Exodus 33:22-23).
