Waggin' Tails

By Amy and Rowen and Amy Rowen

Book Overview

Waggin' Tails is an enchanting story that was written from the narrative perspective of the authors' yellow Labrador Retriever, Julie.

Contemporary youths and puppies share similar attitudes in learning and growing up, since they both may face non-traditional family environments, resistance to rules, the loss of loved ones, the injustice of discrimination, and the values of fun AND work. This wonderful story, set in the context of a new puppy learning to get along in her new home, demonstrates positive approaches to many of life's growing pains. Skill-building reading retention and grammar exercises can be found at the end of each chapter. Every child's learning curve is different, therefore a section of vocabulary is included in the back of the book as well.
