Not a good memoir

Purchased this book because I read good reviews. Very disappointing read. It has been compared to Sylvia Plath's 'The Bell Jar. No comparison in my opinion. Plath was an excellent writer. Bette Howland is not. Seemingly endless descriptions of psych patients in a very amateur manner. This is not a great book. Look elsewhere. Yawn.
