For over 30 years, "Vogue(R) Sewing" has been the seminal fashion sewing guide: the 2006 revision alone sold over 40,000 copies Now, this indispensable classic has been distilled down to its key elements in a concise, easy-to-reference manual. From choosing fabrics to couture techniques, it provides immediate access to all the information stitchers need to make professional, fashionable garments. Take a pattern profile and learn about notions, the overlock machine, and other sewing tools. Prepare to start stitching with instructions on straightening ends, cutting, matching fabric at the seams, and marking accurately. The full range of construction techniques includes everything from interfacing and collars to cuffs, waistlines, and zippers. Sewers will particularly appreciate the small handy size and stay-flat spiral binding.
You might not need this book unless you travel with your sewing machine and you don't already have the big pink version of this book. It is a good book and if you're a serious sewer you'll find a use for it. Like when you're sewing on the way to work or something.

Easy to use since its spiral bound. Nice format. This book has everything that the larger book has except for Advanced Personal Alterations, Tailoring, and I think dealing with Special Fabrics. I end up getting the larger book even though its a little harder to use because its bound like a regular book but I wanted the advanced techniques. This version still has information on making patterns fit your body so I would recommend it for people who dont need the super advanced techniques.
