View from my Window in Tuscany: A Lockdown Love Story

The world's eyes were on Italy as our country went into a government imposed lockdown to protect the healthcare system from the tsunami that was arriving due to Covid-19. I wanted to share the view from my window in Tuscany as my kids and I dealt with a new normal, which I strongly believed would spread to other countries. It did. We kept each other company, virtually, during our respective lockdowns throughout the world. In a difficult moment when we risked feeling disconnected and alone, we connected by sharing our experiences and fears that transformed into an intense desire to grow during the enforced pause. I wrote, and you commented. This daily exchange of 72 posts on Facebook led to a journey that enriched me as a woman and finally led me full circle to the true definition of love.
