Fascinating book for children’s imaginations!

I first read Venus Boy in the third grade and several times afterwards. Like most kids in the 1950s (I’m 74 now) space travel captured my imagination, and this was a book for children with imaginations. This book was written when Venus & Mars were thought to be habitable and before the NASA probes to Venus & Mars proved neither (especially Venus) was, indeed, habitable. If the “loving revision” has left the original story intact, it’s well-worth adding to your permanent library. I’m buying one for my youngest granddaughter and will update this review when mine arrives.
