Tasty, successful meals

This is a cookbook I return to again and again. Some of the dishes can be time consuming, but others are quick, and all of them are tasty. I don't usually do the whole menu, but pick and choose among them.

My favorite vegetarian cookbook

I know this review is almost a repeat of another review, but it bears repeating! This is my favorite vegetarian cookbook - hands down. I have eaten vegetarian (as opposed to being a vegetarian) off and on for 30 years and have tried numerous cookbooks. Sure I have some favorite recipes from other books, but if I could only have 1 vegetarian cookbook - this would be it. Too bad it is out of print, because I'm always wanting to give it as a gift. And yah, it's over 20 years old, but the recipes still work!

Never fails...

This is one of the best vegetarian cookbooks I have ever seen--and I have dozens. Everything I have ever made from this book has been wonderful. I'm just sorry it's out of print--my copy is getting dog-eared from years of use!One caveat--it may be vegetarian, but this is NOT a diet cookbook. In fact, many of the recipes are downright sinful. However, I use it often for entertaining since most of my friends are not vegetarians, and this gives me a chance to show them just how incredible meatless meals can be. (And I have never once had a complaint...)
