I first heard of Barbara and James Peden through mutual friends who were also inspiring the world to nonviolence in all ways. In this wonderful book, Peden teaches us how to save our cats dogs and other pets from cancer, heart disease, blocked urethras, kidney dysfunction, food poisoning, ecoli or colon bacteria, salmonella, Mad Cow, Mad Pig, Mad Dog, Mad Cat and all the other spongiform encephalopathies, as well as all the toxic antibiotics, female hormones, mercury, arsenic, pcb's, pvc's, pbb's and other toxins in the flesh of animals. They are teaching all lions how to lie down next to lambs.

This book is wonderful. I no longer have any doubts that feeding cats and dogs a vegetarian, and even vegan diet can be totally healthy. This book explains everything you might wonder about vegetarian cats and dogs, thoroughly. Highly reccommended for ethical people who wish to sever their ties to the slaughterhouse industry due to pet food.
