Very poor map quality

Bought this book new for the maps and instead, it has a long page of basic, uninspired text about each event in history, followed by a full page or two of worksheets (boring ones) and finally a tiny, black and white, barely legible map to go with each section. The ink quality is smudgy and poor, and the paper is thin. So disappointed.
