My Son (aged 9) LOVED this book.

I bought this book for my son (who is 9 years old) - with the hope that this would be THE BOOK to get him keen on reading versus playing video games or playing on the computer. Although he still does those things in his spare time -- he did read this book from cover to cover and loved it. This book has a good mix of solid reading text and cartoon pictures. The pictures are not overdone and helps in the telling and mood of the story. I am on the lookout now to see if this author publishes more books of this type.
