Understanding Revelation: An Investigation of the Key Interpretational and Chronoloical Questions Which Surround the Book of Revelation

Here is a study that opens up the Book of Revelation in a clear, step-by-step and scholarly manner. It is for those who have avoided studying this last book of the Bible because of all of the questions surrounding it and because of the many divergent views advocated.

A Milestone On The Book Of Revelation

Cohen does not fill his pages with empty musing or opinion. He gets right to (and stays right with) his topic : The chronology of the events described in the Book of Revelation. Arguing cogently and persuasively for successionism (one series of judgments takes place at a time, followed by the next series, etc.), Cohen grapples with the step-by-step logic and exposition necessary to support his position from the ground up. The author does an excellent job of revealing the weaknesses of the concurrent (or overlapping) view as well as answering the most common objections posed by its proponents. This little book may lack imposing size, but its arguments pack a tremendous punch. I regard it as one of the gems of my own library, and feel it deserves a much greater circulation than it has been granted. Other bigger commentaries may help you understand what is described in the Apocalypse, but this one is by far the best one at showing you the sequence of those end-time events.
