What is the difference between MS-DOS and PC DOS?

Hey, do you remember that archaic and primitive operating system DOS? Well, it is still lurking around in communications packages. And I am about to stay around until it can be replaced with another low-level operating system that does not divorce you from the COM port or equivalent. So it would behoove you to keep a copy of this book around for those strange occasions that someone asks, "What is the invisible DOS command?" found on page 175.
