What a teachable-moment book!

We love the Beskow books -- for both boys and girls. This one is particularly good as Peter and Lottie "borrow" Mr. Blue's boat and lose an oar. Taking responsibility for their actions, they work to buy a new oar. This is a great story for teaching the habit of responsibility, owning up to our mistakes and forgiveness.

This is a fabulous children's book. The quality of the binding and pictures is not top-notch but still worth its price!
