good old Latex

You are presumed to be already using Latex. What this book offers is a nice GUI front end alternative to the traditional command line driven usage. There are many menu driven options that let you tailor the graphics and tables. The latter are often awkward in Latex, or most other formatting languages for that matter. The GUI helps lessen the difficulty. Another help is the means of easily importing package formats from other documents. These formats include the apacite from the American Psychological Association publication manual. Other packages are also available.
