Examining the psychology of twinship throughout the lifespan, the book includes chapters on:
* twins in-utero temperament development and inter-twin behaviour before and after birth

* twins with special needs
* the death of a twin
* twins in secondary school and adolescence.

Not Your Usual Parenting Book

This book is a compilation of chapters written by experts in the field. Although written for those who work with twin and triplets, parents of multiples will find it of great value. It addresses issues beyond, "how do you get them both on the same schedule?" And instead focuses on the special needs of twins entering school, developing independence and the importance of emerging autonomy. While a bit stoggy in its approach (the authors are academics after all), if you give the information time to sink in, you'll find what they have to say worthwhile.
