A collection of short stories written between 1993 and 2005 for an informal creative writing circle called the Polidori Society, Tulpehoke-Manitou County Line is set in a fictional region where the Waking world meets the mythical world of Dreaming, based on the Western Ozarks region of Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. The places are fictional but may be familiar to those who walk in both worlds. Each story may stand alone but intertwine to build a sense of place and character to offer images of fear, desire, hope, transformation, and consequences.
