After preventing the destruction of the city of Helios, Sammy and Devan find themselves at odds over the arrival of visitors from Earth. The newcomers claim ownership of the former colony, setting in motion a series of events that divides their society, along with their friendship. Sammy views this as an invasion and swears to drive the strangers from the planet Theia, fighting to return control to local governance. Devan sees their arrival as an ideal situation to use the technology from Earth to improve the lives of every citizen. With their friendship broken, Sammy and Devan pursue opposite goals for what is best for their civilization.
Sammy uncovers evidence that the newly arrived Essex Corporation has come to Theia with ulterior motives and will use up every resource on the planet to accomplish their objective. Along with her band of rebels, Sammy must convince Devan to join her crusade against Essex and reveal the duplicity of the intruders.
Piecing together the information, the rebellion determines that Essex is searching for something with the codename Triton. In a race against the new invasion, Sammy and Devan must face the threat to their friendship and to their planet. Together, they'll do everything in their power to unravel the mystery that is Triton.
