Very knowledgeable author

Mr. Prince knows horses, western life, and Nevada history. He's able to combine that knowledge into a fun read. Western fans will love this book.

Toquop the Warrior Stallion

I found Toquop the Warrior Stallion to be refreshingly original and free of offensive, coarse language. What could be more fun than ranching, romancing and rodeoing? A wonderful read for young adults. Mr. Prince has done a masterful job of describing the cowboy life in the wide open spaces of Nevada. I highly recommend this book to all readers who enjoy a great adventure story.

Excellent use of language and grammar

I found Toquop, The Warrior Stallion, by Mr. Mike Prince a well writen book. It was written with the use of the english language that an english teacher would have been proud to award an "A" grade. I started reading Toquop at 5:00 p.m. and couldn't stop reading until I finished it at 4:00 a.m. My dad introduced me to western novels by Louis L' Amour when I was a young teenager and my first thought during the reading of Toquop was: "Please Mr. Prince, give us more novels, you write well!" This book contains a lot of cowboy-horse information that has great meaning to those with western knowledge and experience. Mr. Prince's accurate information of rodeo terms, horsemanship, and horse tack equipment is enlighting. Congratulations on your first novel, Mr. Prince. You gave me my money's worth and more.
