A Must Have for anyone looking for a doctor in NYC

Really Useful

This book was a life-saver

I used this book to help a friend get out of a hospital that didn't know what to do for her. She had been in the hospital for over a month and they were getting ready to do exploratory surgery. She had an ulcer and pancreatitis so I looked in Top Doctors New York Metro and found a top gastroenterologist at a top hospital. He contacted her doctor. The top doctor, a Dr. Siegel, had her moved to Mt. Sinai. She was released within 3 days and started recuperating. There is no telling what would have happened to her if she hadn't started getting better medical care. My friend has the Castle Connolly Guide to thank for possibly saving her life. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs to use the healthcare system and also to insurance companies, who could save a fortune by letting their insureds know that getting the best medical care will keep costs down!
