French Bulldog Mickey is the perfect adoptee for Eastern Gate Farm. He is devoted, humorous, loving, and generally hard-working, so it is no surprise that he recognizes the pride that led to his big mistake in book 1, Mickey's Mistake: Off the Straight and Narrow Path. Sadly, now in book 2, he is having nightmares about the forest creatures that scared him while he was lost in the woods.
