The platform stood at the edge of the world, high above the clouds, where the air was thin and the view stretched endlessly. From here, the ground seemed distant and surreal, a canvas of jagged peaks and shadowed valleys far below. The wind roared, fierce and unrelenting, as if it were trying to push intruders back from this sacred, perilous place.

He stood at the precipice, a lone figure silhouetted against the dying sun. His eyes burned with a mix of fear and resolve, fixed on the abyss that yawned before him. Behind him, the remnants of his shattered past-the betrayal, the lies, the blood-seemed to whisper, urging him forward, daring him to take the final step.

But this wasn't just a leap. It was a choice. To escape. To confront. To vanish. A parachute strapped to his back offered a promise of survival, but the thin line between life and death had never felt so tenuous. The radio at his hip crackled to life with desperate voices shouting his name, but he ignored them.

Far below, the flicker of headlights revealed the convoy of armed men closing in. Staying meant capture-or worse. The heavens above offered no comfort, only an expanse of cold indifference.

His muscles tensed. He inhaled sharply, then took one final look at the horizon. A step forward, and the world fell away beneath him.

Gravity seized him like a vengeful ghost, and as he plummeted toward the earth, the only sound was the thunderous rush of wind and his own heartbeat, pounding like the echo of a countdown that had finally reached zero.
