Best "working " vacation I ever heard of !!!!

This is the best book about the sports world i've ever read. The insights into sport and people in general are great. I'm not sure if this a travel brochure or a book but is sure worth the read.

Excellent book

Just a good, entertaining read. A must for every sports fan in the country. The sports fan, as well as the average person in search of a great read, will love it.

This book is a must for Father's Day or any gift occasion!!

Time Out! is a great read. The perfect book for a quiet evening or an afternoon in the sun. Edgar Welden brings to life not only the places he visited, but all the people he met. When you finish the book you will feel as if you know the author and spent the year exploring sporting events with him. You don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy Time Out! - the whole family will enjoy this book.

A well-written and entertaining, folksy true account

A good read for the whole family. I highly recommend it

This is a fun book. Real people & places. What a lucky guy!!

TIME OUT! is the story of Edgar Welden, who lived his dream. As a reader, I got to go along and make the trip with him. The book isn't scores or details of the sport itself, it was about the people of our great country. Sports is an equalizer - all races, varied economic and professional groups of all backgrounds. The story is witty and leaves you feeling good - and wanting to see all that Welden saw. What a year~! This guy must have a great wife!
