Through Your Eyes: A Dark Rom-Com
A Fantasy Dark Lite Rom-Com that is a fast and fun read in a dark 1900s inspired fantasy world with steam and humor.
It's three months into the city's universally upheld time of Abstain, the six months of the calendar year where any level of intimacy is taboo.
Ember is a hitwoman, because what else is a girl born under the demon sign of Beleth supposed to do? She's playing the cards she's dealt, about to take out her next target, but she's thwarted by the target's hot bodyguard. Their quick fight--with way more fondling than Ember intends, but he is all muscle and she has been rocking a hand for three months, a girl has needs--ends with them stumbling onto some magic that forces them into each other's worlds.
Kael was born and, quite literally, beaten into the perfect shape of obedient soldier. He's kept to himself since becoming an adult, earning an honest living with all his privileges from being born under the sign of a Seraph. Until he lands into a 'situation' with gorgeous and goofy Ember that has him both questioning everything and ready to break Abstain to get his hands on her. Her world is nothing like he imagined, but maybe it's a chance he never knew he needed.
Please note that this is a LITE dark romance. Content warnings are listed at the end of the book, but the themes are meant to be tame and balanced with humor. THROUGH YOUR EYES is the first in a series that can be read standalone, but reading in release order is suggested.
