Thoughts in the Dark is a collection of self-styled "poems" that I wrote over a ten-year span in prison. The themes are expansive delving into everything from the power of love, Definition(s) Black, Ghetto Blues, and Threats. These poems are meant to open emotions, give perspectives, and truths that might otherwise have been hidden or suppressed. These poems relate to a wide variety of life decisions, and circumstances. Also, they are to provide the reader with a lens through my eyes. Connecting with me through my inner emotions, deepest thoughts, and feelings. Celebration wins when all hope seems loss. These poems are informative, sensual, seductive, and graphic. They are not for the faint of the weak.
