I go over ideas, concepts, and details about Mechanical Advantages like wedges, levers, pulleys, and other types of mechanical advantages (MA) for rescue, arborist, I share details about many different resultants. A resultant occurs when we combine various MA. They can multiply the forces many times more than expected. For example. A 200 lb block of cement falling 6 feet onto a concrete drive way will create well over two tons of force (2,400 Lbs.) I have included some stories about my own near misses, while working with these resultant forces; some of which nearly took my life. I also share other situations, where resultants have hurt and killed others. Interest has been such that I am just finishing Version two with lots more Dangerous MA Resultants, and many (around 400 pages) Rigging tips and ideas almost I have found having this knowledge about these resultants has helped me do everything from change a fuel filter, to get a water heater (full of water) up a narrow stairway and outside, to saving lives.
