A real life narrative

In this sequel to East Side Dreams the author takes you through his life after his release from the California Youth Authority. The narrative covers his struggle to find employment - his description of the unemployment office on Alum Rock Avenue eerily familiar the world over, as well as his experimental use of LSD. The demise of his first marriage leaves him with the added responsibility of raising two young children. A natural optimism radiates throughout the book as the author describes his struggles with housework asking his acquaintances whether they `haven't heard...that a woman's work is never done?' The conclusion of the book shows him successfully married to his second wife, raising a large family and operating his own business having survived the temptation to cave in to pressures from organized crime.
