A Love story never been told before, a love story that's starts in the world we forget. A commoner working in a palace falls in love with the Princess. This love is totally forbidden but the two succumb to their feelings. The act of love is discovered by Fook Lee the Kings confidant. Fook Lee has massive ambitions for his eternal future and jumps at the chance to gain an advantage from this knowledge. Fortunately for the Princess, her maid in waiting learns of Fook Lees plan. The maid tries to intervene, Fook Lee is too cunning. The commoner is found guilty and rehoused in a program, a new beginning. The commoner starts a new life in a country town in the early fifties in the world we now know. The life is tough as he once knew it and made tougher from the ever-menacing Fook Lee. Fook Lee arranges special guardians to see the commoner's life never runs smooth, and that was the case until the Princess and the lady in waiting Barbara manages to watch the commoner growing up. The Princess intervenes and life begins to improve for the commoner, until Fook Lee discovers the Princess is involved with the commoner. The King is furious, he repeats to his daughter the Princess, the commoner will never return as the same person, the King reassures this will be the case. The Princess continues to be shattered knowing she will no longer be reunited with the common lover. To make matters worse, Fook Lee suggests to the king the princess should be sent to a rebirthing program. The King realizes to keep faith with his popularity, Fook Lee is right. The King agrees as Fook Lee arranges for the Princess to be transported to the nearest rebirthing dome. Fook Lee adds one extra condition, the princess will start her temporary new life as an oriental to insure the two never meet again, but unlike the commoner, she will return as the former princess. The King accepts the proposal, the princess is lead to a secure room. While isolated, the lady in waiting Barbara, sneaks into see the princess, The princess begs her to try and arrange for her and the commoner to reunite in the new world. The lady in waiting knows this is impossible although she accepts the challenge when the Princess gives her a huge diamond to cover any costs needed to secure the right guardians. The princess is moved to a rebirthing center and after a short wait is prepared for her new life. Lying flat covered in a white sheet hiding multiply wires, her new journey begins. "You will leave by the light; you will return via the light." These was the last words the princess heard like everyone else. The princess was no longer a Princess, she was now a baby Asian girl growing up in China. All the once Princess had to hope for now, she will somehow reunite with her commoner lover. The task ahead for Barbara seems impossible but can be done, except the task will be made harder with the interference from Fook Lee. With all the obstacles ahead, Barbara had to remember, They Did It for Love.
