This is a collection of my daily comics diary I started called "Then This Happened..." When I first started creating these comics in May of 2017 we just found out my wife had breast cancer. So I started drawing a comic each day to help me cope with my own feelings about it.This book is the second in this series, what happened the following year. This book starts out after my wife had a lumpectomy and when through several surgeries and was told she was now cancer-free. By this point, we didn't just want to go back to our regular daily lives. This part of our lives is about the struggle to find something more and try a different path in life. I had created an art podcast called American Bandito to meet artists and talk to them about how I could restart my own art career and slowly it began to lead me down several different paths in life. And my wife struggles with uprooting the career she's known for years and trying to pursue things she had never experienced before. Plus there is still the occasional observation of everyday life that keeps things amusing.
