I enjoyed reading this story because it wasn't written in a convoluted, "let me see how complicated I can make this" sort of way. It was just a well written, straight-out investigation story that shows the determination it took to find the evidence that finally led to the conviction of the murderer. Of course, the added interest for me was that I lived in Austin and knew the investigators and the DA.
