Cooking in the Wild?

What makes this a Zane Grey cookbook is the title, mostly. There are a few anecdotes concerning Zane Grey and the possibility that this was the kind of food he had while on the trail. The history of some of the recipes is given. There are a few pictures of Zane Grey and the places he visited and the fish he caught, but I think it needed a deeper connection if it really wanted to be a "Zane Grey" cookbook. The recipes range from camp out types of food to some rather unique and shall I say opulent types of food one might find in an exclusive restaurant. Things ranging from bean soup to roast duck.

I give this book 5 stars

Out door type people will love this book. He is a cousin of mg mother. I bought my 3 siblings, mother, grandma and myself one. Mine was lost when I moved.
