Breathtaking!

This book swept me away from the moment I opened it to the very end. In today's fast paced society, we miss the stories, the myths, the folklore handed down from generation to generation by women of the clan...great grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts. I felt like I was wrapped in a beautiful quilt of tranquility and left each session of reading this book with such awe. So much to think about and ponder each time I opened the book. We forget how important relationships between women are. Excellent reading. I was challenged and yet the bittersweet realization of not having this in my own life brought a twinge of pain which Ann Thomas' writing more than made up for.Another title similar to this book and I would rate it 4 stars is "In The Company Of Women".I gave a copy of this book to my therapist and she loved it too.
