Daisy Collins seems to be petrified for the murder she committed an hour ago. She manage to escape from the hotel Grande Albergo delle Palme suite no. 13 where the dead Statesman, Blanford Sky lay lifeless. She waits for a train in the subway, her fear entangles her from all direction, impatient to escape as she twitches in both direction along the tunnel for a train. She's suppose to move run to Brooklyn and getaway from the city. She gets worried of what she has done in the past one hour, unimaginable as she cogitates.The newly transferred detective Susan Kelly gets assigned to the investigation, she reaches the spot of the murder, and begins her examination. In days, the incident gets into the bulletin, the entire city gets aware about the slain Statesman. However the mystery remains a long hurdle for the detective, for she finds a new entry of offenders into the scene.
