You may want the 3rd book ready

I didnt like it as well as the first book but it still kept me entertained and I read it quickly. Ends on a bit of a cliff hanger, you'll want to have the 3rd book ready to go

Loved it

ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!!!! This is the second in the Folk of the Air series, so I recommend you read The Cruel Prince first, otherwise you will surely be confused. Cardan keeps up his wit, slyness, and devilish charm. Jude keeps her wit, stubbornness, and scheming. Together, they build Elfhame and the Undersea, as well as their relationship. Great read, great edition to the series, definitely worth buying and adding to your bookshelf!

The Wicked is one of my favorites!!!

This book has the best enemies to lovers, a very adventurous fantasy novel that just sucks you into the book starting on the first page! Holly Blacks books never disappoint me!!!! SUCH A GREAT BOOK

Not my favorite

Honestly, it wasn't that good. I really didn't like Jude's character in this book at all. I think she needs a big slice of humble pie. The writing was also not my favorite. Everything felt listed out, like: I did this... then I did this. Or, after I did this, I did this. It felt choppy in my opinion. I get the writing was a bit more informal, but this was just not good writing. The plot also wasn't my favorite. The whole book felt like Jude going around on her high horse thinking that she's in control of everything. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a strong heroine, but Jude was just annoying if I'm being honest. My favorite character is still Cardan, I feel like his character has more depth than Jude's does even though the book is through her perspective.
