This book presents the potential of the WebQuest methodology for teaching and learning literature. WebQuest is a research-oriented activity in which some or all of the information with which students interact comes from Internet resources. The work is the result of a qualitative case study conducted with 31 third-year high school students from a federal public school in the city of S o Lu s/Maranh o (Brazil). The study examines the challenges and potential of the methodology in terms of students' interest in discussing Clarice Lispector's Near to the Wild Heart. The work presents WebQuest as one of the possibilities for taking advantage of the resources currently offered on the Web, which can undoubtedly foster learning and students' interest in reading literary books.
