In the burgeoning business of today's telecommunications industry, where giant corporations dominate the marketplace, why should anyone want to sabotage Dan Mason's small high tech transmitter... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a very exciting novel, in my minds eye I could see it as a top adventure movie, with S. Stone as the cheating wife and H. Ford as the Hero.
An enjoyable book about a cutting-edge industrry.

An enjoyable book. The action is set against the background of a high tech industry with plenty of insights into the workings of a telecommunications venture without being bogged down in technical details. It gives an exciting look at a start-up company taking on the corporate giants.
Very good entertainment!

Tom's book, The Venture, combines easy reading, romance, action packed adventure and Corporate intrigue into one little book. I loved the story line and was able to follow the technical aspects of the story, something that some authors get carried away on. The characters were facinating and the ending a real cliff hanger. I would recommend this book to anyone. There is something for all.
Intrigue and action in today's high tech industries.

Wolframs displays considerable knowledge and insight in the inner workings of a high-tech telecommunications venture. He uses this knowledge to weave a tale both interesting and plausible in presenting the pitfalls and frustrations of today's start-up industries against a background of personal tragedy, legal machinations, and ruthless competitors. Although basing his story in a highly technical field, the reader is never swamped with boring technical details. Wolfram brings high tech concepts to a layman audience and blends them seamlessly into his story of suspense. The action leads one from the conference room of a small venture dealing with the common headaches of product qualification to the political intrigue of Europe to the David vs. Goliath aspect of new ventures taking on hugh established companies. One is left wondering if the resemblances between his fictional companies and real-life communication giants is more than just coincidental. A thoroughly enjoyable book.
Good enough to be an action movie

I found this book so facinating that I had trouble putting it down. It has all the elements of a class A film story. Hope Tom writes more.
