The Vanguard Protocol: Issue # 1 / The Lure

By R Lopez

This is a fictional series based on real world scenarios of a 5-person tactical support cell operating within high schools and local neighborhoods. When systemic gaps leave vulnerable people exposed to predators, bullies, isolation, or decay, the Vanguard steps in, not as rogue vigilantes, but as a disciplined shield that gathers intelligence, protects the innocent, and activates trusted adult authorities to finish the job.

The Goal: We do not wait for someone else to stand up. We see the isolated, we shield the bullied, we rebuild for the widow, and we defend the vulnerable. We are the first on the ground and the last to leave."
It is something we will carry into adulthood, and use to raise up more defenders of the vulnerable.
