Perfect for new parents!

This book was such a gift to my husband and me. Tired, dazed, and confused by our first few weeks of parenting, we were daunted by the idea of deciding how and when to vaccinate our daughter. (Like so many things in our first month we thought "where's the adult to make this decision?") I wanted to know everything there was to know and do my own research, but was finding it hard to manage much more than nursing our daughter and the occasional shower. This book was perfect! Easy to read, straightforward, up-to-date, and very informative. Every time I thought of a new question all I had to do was turn the page and I would find it answered. Best of all, the author helped me organize my thoughts and come to a clear decision so I didn't spend any time second-guessing myself or going back and forth. The author found a way to express his thoughts on vaccinations but also made it clear that no matter what we decided, we were the best people to make the decision for our daughter. (So much better than the sea of "you have to do this OR ELSE" we've been finding in parenting literature.) I'm recommending this book to every parent facing a decision about vaccinations! (And on a side-note that may not seem important but breast-feeding mothers will understand: it's paperback and slightly smaller than normal book size, making it easy to hold in one hand while nursing. A big plus when the only breaks you're getting in the day are those quiet moments of breast-feeding!)
