(From the back cover) "The Act: It was a summer the town of Maple Glen would never forget: Twelve seemingly well-adjusted teenagers all committed suicide on the same night. The Pact: They weren't suppose to die; they were suppose to become all-powerful. Or so they were told. But their leader is still alive. . .getting ready to form a group. . .The Uprising. Cheated out of their lives, consumed by hate, now they've come back. But revenge isn't all they want. And as a new school year gets underway, the real killing is about to start." The Uprising by Abigail McDaniels is a fast-paced horror story. I was surprised how much I liked this book. The characters were for the most part interesting and likeable. I highly recommend this to those who like quick and entertaining horror novels. I also recommend Lisa Cantrell's The Manse and The Presence by Yvonne MacManus
