The Twelve Days of Jesus: A Christmas Bible Study

Join me for a twelve day study through the first two chapters of the book of Luke. We will study the birth of Jesus as well as the events leading up to His birth. Jesus' birth is such a huge part of our story as Christians. All we read in the Old Testament was paving the way for the coming of the Messiah. In the New Testament, His arrival is the beginning of the story of our redemption. It is exciting and wonderful and should move us to praise! Whether you believe the birth of Christ happened in December or you think it was more likely during a warmer time of year, celebrating Jesus' birth is something we should do. The birth of our Savior should be remembered not just during Christmas, but all year long. We should thank God regularly for sending Jesus and for His act of love on the cross. Every piece of Jesus' life, from start to finish, was important. So since the whole world has chosen Christmas to celebrate Jesus' birth, let's use this time to really focus on this momentous occasion and celebrate the coming of our Lord!
