The main objective of this book is to empower others to walk in their own light. This book is targeted towards women and men of Caribbean, and/or African descent. Our stories are unique, and so many of us are carrying around many bags left from our childhoods. Those bags turn into suitcases once we become adults, and the generational cycles of abuse, lack of self-worth, and lack of self-love continue to be passed down to our children. I want to inspire and motivate individuals to dump their suitcases, no matter the weight and regardless of the attachments, and live their lives exponentially through loving themselves and loving God. God is delivering this message to His people. I am merely the messenger. As Caribbean's living this life, we all know that abuse, narcissism, and the devaluation of women and men can be commonplace in our culture. I want us to start discussing this so that we can build a better future for our children. Also, it is time for us to start aligning ourselves with what God means to us, and not necessarily the church. We need to break the destructive cycles.
