This time it is Lisa and Quinn........

This continuing saga of the O'Malley clan focuses on Lisa. I love the way Dee Henderson has created such a diverse and rich family unit with the O'Malleys. A noted forensic pathologist to her peers, Lisa is the one the family sees as always getting herself into trouble. The trouble this time is very real, and in the end helps her come to some life changing decisions. Dee has a wonderful way with words, and I especially like the way she has artfully told a few scenes in this book in retrospect. Just read it and you will see what I mean!Another plus about this series is that you can start with this story and it won't mess you up to go back and read the others. While the family steps in and out of each others lives, their devotion to each other is a constant theme. One book about the O'Malley's and you will definately want to meet the rest of them!

Another AWESOME Dee Henderson book!

She did it again, another can't-put-down-until-you-finish-it book! Some recommended 'Danger in the Shadows' to me awhile back, and I read and loved it, also The Negotiator, although I have to admit that 'The Guardian' wasn't one of my favorites, although very good. But this book got me back in the series, I actually didn't rush out and buying it, not knowing how it would be, but when I did, it was read within 24 hours. This book is awesome, once again, Ms Henderson gets you off to a great start, and keep you interested and guessing all along the way. I love these books because they have some backbone, they're not like alot of the 'inspirational romance' books that don't even have all the facts straight. I love the mystery, but it's just enough to make you shiver (especially if you're reading it late at night!) but it's not bloody and gory. And I love the theme about Christianity that each book has. Combined with just even romance to keep it going, I love the way she describes the family, it makes you want to be part of it! My favorite parts in this book were - *the* phone call convo that Quinn overhears, and of course the Resurrection scene. I thought that was brought across really good, it was easy to grasp.I can't wait to read Jack's story! If you haven't read 'The Truth-Seeker' BUY IT!!!!! But, make sure you read Danger in The Shadows, and the other O'Malley books first! Trust me, you'll feel like part of this family when you get done!

WOW!!! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. I love this family!!! Lisa and Quinn are very good together and the title of the book has a double meaning. Lisa is not only a truth seeker about people's death, but she's a truth seeker about the Ressurection. My favorite O'Malley is still Jack. I can't wait to read about him and Stephen. I could read about this family until the day that I can't see to read anymore. Miss Henderson, just don't kill off Jennifer. I don't think I could take it.

Lisa and Quinn...Yummy !

Let's face it romance has spawned many intersting families but none so special as the O'Malleys. Readers first met Dave in DANGERS IN THE SHADOWS, then again in NEGOGIATOR when he met his very own O'Malley and the family was born. Readers have enjoyed the journey of discovery thru each of the O'Malley stories and with Lisa's story we are sure to have at least three more. But then there are their kids . THE TRUTH SEEKER is an example of an authors growth, as she creates a story full of suspense but never losing site of the romance of her couple and the link to all the books, their sister with Cancer. Here we have Lisa and Quinn who we meet in THE GUARDIAN, where the sprarks first flew, but nothing like their own story. This one is full of suspense as our couple find their own connection with their spirituality and their love for each other, despite the evil that engulfs them. Also the whole family is there as well so it it like visiting good friends. What makes Dee Henderson's books unique is although they are Christian based in their concept and delivery they are not preachy. They will appeal to both Christians and non Christians who want classic romantic suspense. But if it is Inspirational Romances you are looking for, then DEE HENDERSON's books are classic Inspirational Romances. You can't call your self a romance reader if you haven't at least one Henderson book on your keeper shelf.

I had been looking forward to this book's release for a few months now, and I was not disappointed. Dee Henderson is quickly becoming one of those authors whose books you just buy because you know that they will be good. In this book, she keeps up the pace of her first 2 O'Malley books--meaning once you start the first chapter, you will not want to put it down. We first got a glimpse of Lisa and Quinn in her last book, and watching their relationship unfold in this book is great. However, what I especially liked was all of the details we get about Lisa's job working for the state crime lab. If you are at all interested in Forensics, you will enjoy this read. Of course, I would be remiss not to mention the spiritual aspect of this novel (what truly sets Dee's writing apart from other books), as Lisa deals with the Resurrection. It definitely gives her character depth. If you have yet to pick up a Dee Henderson novel, you are missing out. I highly recommend the Truth Seeker, and I can't wait for the next installment.
