Donald Trump has energized comedy as perhaps no previous president in American history. Many written jokes that appeared in the past without an identifiable person have been rewritten herein to fit the public perception of his amusing characteristics. The aim is not partisan bickering, since neither the author nor many of the jokes have that objective. Instead, the book allows readers to relieve some tension regarding the 45th president of the United States. Some are indeed bipartisan, as they can be interpreted either as anti- or pro-Trump depending on one's perspective. In that sense, the joke may be on the one who lack the intelligence to see through the wording. The author both agrees and disagrees with some of Trump's policies and finds him both a likable and dis-likable person, just as everyone has good and bad traits. Life is often too complicated to take things too seriously, so this joke book should serve to lighten one's views of Donald J. Trump, to whom the comedy industry definitely owes a debt of gratitude. Those who are offended that he appears to be the butt of ridicule are urged to whiteout his name and insert anyone else of their choosing. (Hint: somebody name Clinton?)
