"Lions and tigers and bears Oh my " said Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. THE TOY ROOM has lions, tigers, and bears, plus dolls and trains in a quaint museum owned by wealthy Prissy. When toys disappear, Detective Mark Lister is called and Prissy's usual hateful behavior becomes more demented. Old Joseph falls to his death down the spiral staircase as Prissy watches from her wheelchair. Confusion intensifies, and museum Administrator Caroline and Mark's romance does also. Unexpectedly, the mystery of the missing toys grinds to an abrupt halt in Prissy's devious, self-serving way.
