The Titan’s Bride Volume 2 (Prince Caius and His Bride, Kouichi Mizuki, Are Back!)

The Titan’s Bride Volume 2 is now out, and I’m excited! The first volume ended with Kouichi being kidnapped by Baro Barrows and Caius being surrounded by armed Beastmen under the orders of Barry. Now, Caius must fight his way out of the warehouse he’s trapped in and rescue his bride in distress. Kouichi is in heat because of the Karina poison and is upset by the thought of Caius’s dead body. Baro tries to calm him down but discovers the repercussions of touching someone else’s partner. When Caius and Kouichi reunite, Kouichi confesses his love for Caius, but it may be too late. Kouichi collapses in Caius’s arms. Worried for his bride, Caius pours all his hope into Baro to retrieve the Raisa fruit. When Caius and Kouichi return to their kingdom, they find an unexpected passenger in the back of their carriage. Dr. Malthu is forced to deal with his new Beastman apprentice, while Caius does anything to please his bride. Kouichi spends his spare time with Baro and Dr. Malthu, studying the culture of the Titans, meeting Caius’s friends and subjects, and sleeping with Caius in bed. But the longer Kouichi stays, the more he thinks about everyone he left back home—his uncle and his best friend. As the month deadline draws near and the couple learns more about each other, Caius reveals the truth about summoning magic. Learning about how his life on Earth would be affected if he stayed in Tildant, Kouichi is determined to return to his previous life—ending Caius’s courtship with Kouichi. Caius and Kouichi share one last night together before they are to be separated. ITKZ has done an excellent job again. The covers are fantastic and well-drawn—like always. The narrative is enthralling. I learned that I love BL narratives, where one character is summoned to another world. I hope this is not the end for Caius and Kouichi. I’m anxiously waiting for the third volume to be released. Please don’t separate Caius and Kouichi permanently.
